In the 1990s sensing a good opportunity in the service sector Shri Jagjeet Singh Arora initiated with Hotel Midtown in Raipur, which at that time was the only 3 star category hotel in the city. Encouraged with the success of his first venture in hospitality sector, he initiated with Hotel GT Star, in November 2007, a four star hotel equipped with all modern amenities. After establishing a good brand name in the Raipur city, Mr. Arora saw a great opportunity of road construction in the upcoming state of Chhattisgarh. He earned a huge recognition in this line where he is known till date for the quality of roads he built. His ethical ways of doing business presented him with the opportunity of building Chief Minister’s hometown road

His continuous strive to success made him to initialize with a Power Plant in Ambikapur which serves as a source of livelihood to hundreds of families in this economically backward region. Started with 10 mw Biomass based Power Plant, Indra Powergen aims at future expansion and surely to prove as benchmark for others in the Power Sector.
